My Man is Graduated
Chad finally grad-u-man-ated! April 11 was the day. It was quite an eventful one as well. We got to have some of Chad's family up for the weekend to celebrate with us. He was able to graduate with his sister, Natalie and his brother-in-law, Zach. So an exciting day for the family all around. Elder Ballard was there to congratulate the graduates and of course gave a nice talk that was laced with humor.
Right after graduation Chad had to rush back to Idaho Falls to interview with 12 principles from the district he is interested in teaching at. Funny but when they asked him if he could interview that day and he told them he was graduating... they didn't seem to care! So he went! Anyway, he was told that he would be contacted in a few weeks but later that same night they called and offered him a position. We still don't know which school or grade because they are still recruiting but Chad got a call a few days ago from the District Head and she told him that pretty much every principle wanted him so she was wondering if he had any preferences! We thought that was pretty exciting.
