By Popular Request...

Honestly, I don't understand the obsession people have with me getting fat... but by popular request, here are the pictures of the "baby bump" which doesn't feel much like a "bump" to me! Sorry about the mirror picture but Chad wasn't home so I had to figure out a way to do it myself!

And they tell me it's only gonna get bigger!!!

And here's one of our girl: yawning, stretching, and rubbing her eyes... definitely her mother's daughter!! (sorry if the 3D freaks any of you out). She looks a little different now than in these pix that were taken at 18.3 weeks. I'm 28 weeks today and excited cuz I passed my sugar test! Silly I know but the stuff is disgusting and I really didn't want to repeat it!

At 26.3 weeks I had another ultrasound done (the perks of working in an OB office) and while this little one grew into her belly, her legs are still trying to catch up to the rest of her and her head measured at 30.0 weeks! Almost 4 weeks big! So hopefully she's storing lots of brain power!

We're still debating on names, as many of you know. It's such a permanent thing that it makes the decision that much harder. But we're not telling anyone until after she is born so just be patient (they say it's a good attribute to have... although I wouldn't know anything about that!)

Our trip to Cali!

So as I am a new blogger I have a lot of updates to attach. My first update is on our trip we took to California last August. I had several people request pictures from this trip but right after we got back I got caught up in the work-world and have a lot of apologizing to do as I never got pictures sent out. So we'll start there.

Many of you know that Chad and I went on a much-needed vacation in August following my graduation from PA school. We spent a week in San Diego and visited The San Diego Zoo, Disneyland (for my very first time... yes I'm 25, ridiculous I know!), Tijuana, The San Diego Temple (which was absolutely gorgeous, but we were fried by this time so if in the pix we don't look like we're enjoying it... that's why!), and Sea World (which was by far my favorite spot!)

The trip was a much needed break and as you can see we kept busy on the go the entire time. We did take time to relax and see the beach, spend time in the motel swimming pool, and eat out a little bit. It was our first real vacation together... No the Grand Canyon backpacking trip doesn't count... and we really enjoyed our time together. We didn't even spend our time wandering around lost... too much... which for any of you that know Chad and myself is a HUGE accomplishment!!
