Easter

I apparently don't like messes. Somehow I managed to not get a single picture of the kids coloring the eggs this year. I musta wanted to shove the memory right out of my mind.

But I did get some of the hunt! Yay! The girls were very excited. And darn that little Jaedyn. She kept asking me if the Easter Bunny was real! Cool it kid! You're only 4! And how many times can I distract her from the question before I have to answer. And do I lie? To my little girl? Isn't that damaging?

Can't she just believe in the magic for a little bit?

I really wanted to get the girls matching dresses for Easter but at the store Jaedyn wanted to pick out her own dress, which is fine. But she chose a big girl dress! I was so shocked that she preferred it over all the poofy little girl dresses! She's growing up quite rapidly. It was a cute dress though.

If there are any doubts about how much fun was being had, this little jewel should lay them to rest

What sweet sisters these girls are turning out to be! I'm so thankful and so relieved! Jaedyn helped Lilia find her basket, eat her basket and after much coaxing, leave her basket to find the hidden eggs. She even led her by the hand to a few she found rather than gathering them herself.

Everyone time Lilia saw one she would exclaim "oh, oh, oh" and toddle/waddle quickly to it, grab it in a jumping up motion and "OH!"

She has quite the eye for hidden things.

Guilty as Charged

Wow. Just wow.  Did we celebrate New Years? Sure did. Did we take a fantastic trip to Hawaii? That would be a resounding YES! Did Lilia finally get some teeth? After much heartache and sorrow. Did Chad have a birthday? Uh-huh. Did we go to Denver and visit family? Yep. Is Jaedyn an active little 4 year old who is never seen out of costume? haha, yes indeed. Did I get her registered and win a slot to the charter school? Mmhmmm. Have we thoroughly enjoyed the last few months of our lives? Sure have! Are we still alive? Of course! Have I blogged any of it? Nope. And now that the sun is FINALLY shining, am I likely to? uh... Should I feel guilty?
