Picture Bloopers

My attempts to get a 12 month growth picture of my daughter... not exactly what I had in mind. But I guess it shows her developmental growth huh?Chad is a performer!I have no words! There are no words! haha. My poor beautiful baby!
My attempts to get a nice family picture. Notice any similarities in the pictures? Thanks a lot Master Chad.

The Blessings Come Pouring in...

I have to admit I've had my doubts. This move to Logan has been in the works for quite a while but we had to make some pretty hard decisions prior to knowing if everything would fall into place. We felt like this move to Logan was the right thing to do but NOTHING seemed to be working by the deadlines we had set! For example: Chad didn't find out he had been accepted to USU until a week after we both had turned in our notice at work (even though he had been calling them every day for a month). We had no interest in our house from the rental agency and were concerned about affording two residences on one salary. We didn't find renters for our house until today, one week after signing a contract on a place in Logan. The timing on everything, considering how much we were trying to make it work, is just hilarious. It's almost as if we were required to take that leap of faith before things just started to "fall" into place. Now that this last hurtle is complete I have to say I'm much more excited about what the next few weeks will bring and the work of moving that is ahead of me. Wish us luck!

Bittersweet Changes...

So I've been razzed a lot in the last several weeks for my status as a blogger. Yes it has been weeks since my last update and I'm feeling like a lazy mother. I have hundreds of pictures sittig in my camera right now, and no motivation to download them. But the truth is... well I'm not sure what the truth is. I'm repentant and I'm sort of updating now. Though this blog does not include pictures of our daughter let me just say that Jaedyn has officially started walking... finally, whew! I have a Toddler! And of course she is still the apple of our eyes. Yesterday she said "uh-oh spaeti-oh" and has continued to captivate us with her childhood charm.
As many of you have heard Chad and I have been making some huge decisions this summer and our official move date is August 15th. He'll start school on Aug 24th and is very excited to start with this chapter of his life, a little earlier than originally planned but sometimes life has a way of laughing at what you have "planned". I have to laugh myself when I consider where I thought I would be 5 years ago and where I actually am.
So here we go on this adventure! I've got a job at a dermatology clinic and I start on Aug 25th. In between now and then we still need to find renters for our house (keep your fingers crossed) and find a babysitter. Oh yes and get the ball moving for official in-state status so we can afford for Chad to go to school. Those would have to be my big top three. Then of course the joys of packing, down-sizing and saying good-bye to many friendships we hold dear.
Don't let this update depress you! We really are excited. Like the title boasts... life presents bittersweet changes.
Besides Check out the beauty we'll be surrounded by! Not to mention the great access to camping, school gym memberships (yahoo for unlimited pool access!), great Mexican food (so I hear), and new friends (hopefully)!
