Jaedyn turns 3!!

Chad asked Jaedyn this year "What theme would you like for your party this year?" My jaw dropped when Jaedyn, without missing a beat, replied, "A cookie party!" So a cookie party she got. Thank goodness she has a daddy. I had Lilia 9 days before Jaedyn turned 3 and was not up to the task of planning a party!

Chad got online and looked up games that 3 year olds are supposed to enjoy. Funny thing was, the ideas he got online were a flop but the ones he came up with on his own were a huge hit. I guess Google isn't always a reliable source!

There was dancing, the kids really liked "Hokey Pokey".

Just in case you're wondering... 3-year-0lds don't like to be mummies!

The kids got to make binoculars and go on a cookie hunt in the backyard

I didn't get a picture of it, and I can't believe I didn't cuz it took the most prep time but Chad made a big circular bean bag toss and painted it light brown. Then he sewed dark brown bean bags and the kids got to toss the "chocolate chips" at the "cookie".

The kids also got to go fishing. They LOVED this activity! Swedish fish were placed on their plates with chopsticks. The kids were told they could eat the fish, the only rule was they had to use the chopsticks. Took them less than a minute to figure that one out. Just goes to show, if given enough motivation...

Mmmm... cake and ice-cream. Chocolate chip cookie dough and oreo cookie- fitting, right?

Yes there are 3 boys at her party and no girls. We got a bit of flack from this but it comes down to the fact that... well, Jaedyn likes boys! haha. Just kidding.

Yes, that's her finger in her nose. She's definitely 3.
